Tanzania T-bill auction, 10 October 2012: 364-day at 13.47%, down 30 bps
At the Treasury bill auction dated 10 October 2012, the Bank of Tanzania cleared the 91-day bill at 12.59% (up 14 basis points), the 182-day bill at 13.36% (up 35 basis points) and the 364-day bill at 13.47% (down 30 basis points). The rate shown is the weighted average yield of successful bids.
The auction was fully subscribed: bids totalled TZS 136.9bn against TZS 105.0bn on offer, 130% of the amount sought, and TZS 112.8bn was accepted.
