Egypt T-bill auction, 25 November 2025: 364-day at 25.42%, down 2 bps
At the Treasury bill auction dated 25 November 2025, the Central Bank of Egypt cleared the 91-day bill at 26.43% (down 5 basis points), the 182-day bill at 26.39% (down 8 basis points) and the 364-day bill at 25.42% (down 2 basis points). The rate shown is the weighted average yield of accepted bids.
Demand was strong: bids totalled EGP 276.7bn against EGP 105.0bn on offer, 263% of the amount sought, and EGP 132.0bn was accepted.
Over the past year the 364-day rate has ranged from 24.45% to 26.24%.
A year earlier the 364-day bill cleared at 26.24%, so the government is paying 82 basis points less than twelve months ago.
