Egypt T-bill auction, 18 November 2025: 364-day at 25.44%, down 5 bps
At the Treasury bill auction dated 18 November 2025, the Central Bank of Egypt cleared the 91-day bill at 26.48% (down 12 basis points), the 182-day bill at 26.46% (down 11 basis points) and the 364-day bill at 25.44% (down 5 basis points). The rate shown is the weighted average yield of accepted bids.
Demand was strong: bids totalled EGP 326.6bn against EGP 110.0bn on offer, 297% of the amount sought, and EGP 138.0bn was accepted.
Over the past year the 364-day rate has ranged from 24.45% to 26.24%.
A year earlier the 364-day bill cleared at 26.24%, so the government is paying 80 basis points less than twelve months ago.
