Egypt T-bill auction, 11 November 2025: 364-day at 25.49%, down 6 bps
At the Treasury bill auction dated 11 November 2025, the Central Bank of Egypt cleared the 91-day bill at 26.60% (down 16 basis points), the 182-day bill at 26.58% (down 9 basis points) and the 364-day bill at 25.49% (down 6 basis points). The rate shown is the weighted average yield of accepted bids.
Demand was strong: bids totalled EGP 305.7bn against EGP 100.0bn on offer, 306% of the amount sought, and EGP 99.2bn was accepted.
Over the past year the 364-day rate has ranged from 24.45% to 26.24%.
A year earlier the 364-day bill cleared at 26.23%, so the government is paying 74 basis points less than twelve months ago.
