Egypt T-bill auction, 15 March 2005: 364-day at 10.66%, up 33 bps

At the Treasury bill auction dated 15 March 2005, the Central Bank of Egypt cleared the 364-day bill at 10.66% (up 33 basis points). The rate shown is the weighted average yield of accepted bids.

The auction was fully subscribed: bids totalled EGP 2.2bn against EGP 1.7bn on offer, 130% of the amount sought, and EGP 1.7bn was accepted.

Over the past year the 364-day rate has ranged from 9.53% to 12.39%.
