At the Treasury bill auction dated 24 June 2003, the Central Bank of Egypt cleared the 182-day bill at 10.23% (up 1 basis point). The rate shown is the weighted average yield of accepted bids.
Demand was strong: bids totalled EGP 1.6bn against EGP 900m on offer, 173% of the amount sought, and EGP 930m was accepted.
