Egypt T-bill auction, 10 June 2003: 182-day at 10.29%, down 18 bps

At the Treasury bill auction dated 10 June 2003, the Central Bank of Egypt cleared the 182-day bill at 10.29% (down 18 basis points). The rate shown is the weighted average yield of accepted bids.

The auction was fully subscribed: bids totalled EGP 2.3bn against EGP 1.6bn on offer, 146% of the amount sought, and EGP 1.7bn was accepted.

Over the past year the 182-day rate has ranged from 5.24% to 14.35%.
