Egypt T-bill auction, 5 June 2003: 91-day at 10.14%, up 3 bps
At the Treasury bill auction dated 5 June 2003, the Central Bank of Egypt cleared the 91-day bill at 10.14% (up 3 basis points). The rate shown is the weighted average yield of accepted bids.
Demand was strong: bids totalled EGP 1.3bn against EGP 800m on offer, 163% of the amount sought, and EGP 818m was accepted.
Over the past year the 91-day rate has ranged from 4.60% to 13.59%.
