Egypt T-bill auction, 12 June 2003: 91-day at 10.18%, up 4 bps

At the Treasury bill auction dated 12 June 2003, the Central Bank of Egypt cleared the 91-day bill at 10.18% (up 4 basis points). The rate shown is the weighted average yield of accepted bids.

The auction was fully subscribed: bids totalled EGP 1.1bn against EGP 800m on offer, 142% of the amount sought, and EGP 812m was accepted.

Over the past year the 91-day rate has ranged from 4.60% to 13.59%.
