Tanzania T-bill auction, 12 September 2012: 364-day at 13.11%
At the Treasury bill auction dated 12 September 2012, the Bank of Tanzania cleared the 91-day bill at 12.08%, the 182-day bill at 12.83% and the 364-day bill at 13.11%. The rate shown is the weighted average yield of successful bids.
The auction was fully subscribed: bids totalled TZS 135.3bn against TZS 105.0bn on offer, 129% of the amount sought, and TZS 104.5bn was accepted.
