Mozambique T-bill auction, 13 January 2016: 91-day at 8.53%
At the Treasury bill auction dated 13 January 2016, the Banco de Moçambique cleared the 91-day bill at 8.53% and the 182-day bill at 9.20% (up 32 basis points). The rate shown is the weighted average subscription rate.
The auction was undersubscribed: bids totalled MZN 3.9bn against MZN 4.4bn on offer, 88% of the amount sought, and MZN 3.9bn was accepted.
