Mozambique T-bill auction, 6 January 2016: 364-day at 8.93%

At the Treasury bill auction dated 6 January 2016, the Banco de Moçambique cleared the 182-day bill at 8.88% and the 364-day bill at 8.93%. The rate shown is the weighted average subscription rate.

The auction was undersubscribed: bids totalled MZN 1.2bn against MZN 2.0bn on offer, 59% of the amount sought, and MZN 1.2bn was accepted.
