Malawi T-bill auction, 24 December 2013: 91-day at 31.39%, down 42 bps

At the Treasury bill auction dated 24 December 2013, the Reserve Bank of Malawi cleared the 91-day bill at 31.39% (down 42 basis points). The rate shown is the average yield of allotted bids.

Bids totalled MWK 1.2bn and MWK 1.1bn was accepted, 92% of what was bid.

Over the past year the 91-day rate has ranged from 15.50% to 31.98%.
