Malawi T-bill auction, 3 December 2013: 364-day at 34.43%, up 212 bps

At the Treasury bill auction dated 3 December 2013, the Reserve Bank of Malawi cleared the 182-day bill at 30.98% (up 208 basis points) and the 364-day bill at 34.43% (up 212 basis points). The rate shown is the average yield of allotted bids.

Bids totalled MWK 1.0bn and MWK 1.0bn was accepted, 100% of what was bid.

Over the past year the 364-day rate has ranged from 20.33% to 35.87%.
