Malawi T-bill auction, 24 September 2013: 182-day at 18.52%, up 78 bps

At the Treasury bill auction dated 24 September 2013, the Reserve Bank of Malawi cleared the 182-day bill at 18.52% (up 78 basis points). The rate shown is the average yield of allotted bids.

Bids totalled MWK 1.6bn and MWK 1.4bn was accepted, 90% of what was bid.

Over the past year the 182-day rate has ranged from 17.01% to 32.93%.
