At the Treasury bill auction dated 3 September 2002, the Central Bank of Egypt cleared the 182-day bill at 7.58% (down 2 basis points). The rate shown is the weighted average yield of accepted bids.
The auction was fully subscribed: bids totalled EGP 1.0bn against EGP 800m on offer, 130% of the amount sought, and EGP 887m was accepted.
