At the Treasury bill auction dated 25 July 2002, the Central Bank of Egypt cleared the 91-day bill at 7.20% (unchanged). The rate shown is the weighted average yield of accepted bids.
The auction was fully subscribed: bids totalled EGP 630m against EGP 500m on offer, 126% of the amount sought, and EGP 510m was accepted.
