Kenya bond auction, 7 October 2026: FXD1/2018/015 at 12.611%

The Central Bank of Kenya's bond auction dated 7 October 2026 was a switch auction of FXD1/2018/015.

Bids came to KES 9.1bn against KES 10.0bn on offer (91% subscribed), and the Treasury accepted KES 9.0bn.

FXD1/2018/015 cleared at 12.611%, against a 12.650% coupon, with 6.6 years to maturity. Its previous sale, on 20 October 2025, priced at 12.652%, so the yield is down 4 basis points.
