Kenya bond auction, 15 April 2026: FXD1/2018/015 at 11.966%

The Central Bank of Kenya's bond auction dated 15 April 2026 was a switch auction of FXD1/2018/015.

Bids came to KES 2.6bn against KES 20.0bn on offer (13% subscribed), and the Treasury accepted KES 1.8bn.

FXD1/2018/015 cleared at 11.966%, against a 12.650% coupon, with 7.1 years to maturity. Its previous sale, on 20 October 2025, priced at 12.652%, so the yield is down 69 basis points.
