The Central Bank of Kenya's bond auction dated 9 September 2026 was a switch auction of FXD4/2019/010.
Bids came to KES 13.5bn against KES 10.0bn on offer (135% subscribed), and the Treasury accepted KES 11.0bn.
FXD4/2019/010 cleared at 11.140%, against a 12.280% coupon, with 3.2 years to maturity. Its previous sale, on 13 December 2021, priced at 12.642%, so the yield is down 150 basis points.
