Uganda T-bill auction, 5 January 2017: 364-day at 15.56%
At the Treasury bill auction dated 5 January 2017, the Bank of Uganda cleared the 91-day bill at 13.41%, the 182-day bill at 14.63% and the 364-day bill at 15.56%. The rate shown is the money-market yield at the cut-off price.
Demand was strong: bids totalled UGX 513.0bn against UGX 165.0bn on offer, 311% of the amount sought, and UGX 165.0bn was accepted.
