At the Treasury bill auction dated 29 December 2025, the South African Reserve Bank cleared the 91-day bill at 6.77% (up 26 basis points), the 182-day bill at 7.04% (up 6 basis points) and the 364-day bill at 6.75% (down 1 basis point). The rate shown is the average rate at which bills are allotted in the weekly auction.
Over the past year the 364-day rate has ranged from 6.73% to 7.75%.
