At the Treasury bill auction dated 17 September 2021, the South African Reserve Bank cleared the 91-day bill at 3.79% (down 6 basis points), the 182-day bill at 4.31% (up 3 basis points) and the 364-day bill at 4.78% (up 1 basis point). The rate shown is the average rate at which bills are allotted in the weekly auction.
Over the past year the 364-day rate has ranged from 3.68% to 4.88%.
