At the Treasury bill auction dated 31 December 2020, the South African Reserve Bank cleared the 91-day bill at 3.87% (up 4 basis points), the 182-day bill at 4.10% (down 1 basis point) and the 364-day bill at 4.31% (up 1 basis point). The rate shown is the average rate at which bills are allotted in the weekly auction.
Over the past year the 364-day rate has ranged from 3.60% to 7.13%.
