Malawi T-bill auction, 18 March 2014: 182-day at 12.42%, down 1856 bps

At the Treasury bill auction dated 18 March 2014, the Reserve Bank of Malawi cleared the 182-day bill at 12.42% (down 1856 basis points). The rate shown is the average yield of allotted bids.

Bids totalled MWK 750m and MWK 750m was accepted, 100% of what was bid.

At 12.42%, the 182-day rate is the lowest in the 13 auctions of the past year.
