At the Treasury bill auction dated 1 December 2025, the Bank of Ghana cleared the 91-day bill at 11.05% (down 9 basis points), the 182-day bill at 12.43% (down 25 basis points) and the 364-day bill at 13.09% (up 2 basis points). The rate shown is the weighted average interest-rate equivalent.
Bids totalled GHS 6.0bn and GHS 5.8bn was accepted, 96% of what was bid.
Over the past year the 364-day rate has ranged from 12.87% to 30.41%.
A year earlier the 364-day bill cleared at 29.82%, so the government is paying 1674 basis points less than twelve months ago.
