Ghana T-bill auction, 13 October 2025: 364-day at 12.87%, unchanged
At the Treasury bill auction dated 13 October 2025, the Bank of Ghana cleared the 91-day bill at 10.53% (up 6 basis points), the 182-day bill at 12.31% (down 4 basis points) and the 364-day bill at 12.87% (unchanged). The rate shown is the weighted average interest-rate equivalent.
Bids totalled GHS 6.5bn and GHS 6.3bn was accepted, 97% of what was bid.
At 12.87%, the 364-day rate is the lowest in the 48 auctions of the past year.
A year earlier the 364-day bill cleared at 28.52%, so the government is paying 1565 basis points less than twelve months ago.
