Ghana T-bill auction, 10 February 2025: 91-day at 27.98%, down 43 bps
At the Treasury bill auction dated 10 February 2025, the Bank of Ghana cleared the 91-day bill at 27.98% (down 43 basis points) and the 182-day bill at 28.69% (down 21 basis points). The rate shown is the weighted average interest-rate equivalent.
Bids totalled GHS 10.6bn and GHS 7.7bn was accepted, 72% of what was bid.
Over the past year the 91-day rate has ranged from 24.79% to 28.52%.
A year earlier the 91-day bill cleared at 28.30%, so the government is paying 31 basis points less than twelve months ago.
