At the Treasury bill auction dated 24 September 2018, the Bank of Ghana cleared the 91-day bill at 13.39% (up 2 basis points) and the 182-day bill at 14.18% (down 1 basis point). The rate shown is the weighted average interest-rate equivalent.
Bids totalled GHS 448m and GHS 448m was accepted, 100% of what was bid.
At 13.39%, the 91-day rate is the highest in the 38 auctions of the past year.
