At the Treasury bill auction dated 29 October 2002, the Central Bank of Egypt cleared the 182-day bill at 7.12% (unchanged). The rate shown is the weighted average yield of accepted bids.
Demand was strong: bids totalled EGP 2.6bn against EGP 1.7bn on offer, 155% of the amount sought, and EGP 1.7bn was accepted.
