Egypt T-bill auction, 11 July 2002: 91-day at 7.19%, unchanged

At the Treasury bill auction dated 11 July 2002, the Central Bank of Egypt cleared the 91-day bill at 7.19% (unchanged). The rate shown is the weighted average yield of accepted bids.

Demand was strong: bids totalled EGP 1.7bn against EGP 700m on offer, 238% of the amount sought, and EGP 708m was accepted.
