Kenya T-bill auction, 13 April 2015: 91-day at 8.422%, down 3 bps
At the Treasury bill auction dated 13 April 2015, the Central Bank of Kenya cleared the 91-day bill at 8.422% (down 3 basis points).
Demand was strong: bids totalled KES 2.4bn against KES 1.0bn on offer, a subscription rate of 240%. The government accepted KES 2.4bn, or 100% of what was bid.
Over the past year the 91-day rate has ranged from 8.187% to 11.438%.
