Kenya T-bill auction, 16 February 2015: 91-day at 8.563%, down 2 bps
At the Treasury bill auction dated 16 February 2015, the Central Bank of Kenya cleared the 91-day bill at 8.563% (down 2 basis points).
Demand was strong: bids totalled KES 3.3bn against KES 2.0bn on offer, a subscription rate of 167%. The government accepted KES 3.1bn, or 91% of what was bid.
Over the past year the 91-day rate has ranged from 8.187% to 11.438%.
